Servants of God – Promise 2024
The Lord Jesus honours your commitment to serve Him, amidst all the sufferings you go through. He loves you very dearly. Be encouraged as you enter another new year.
Is Satan raising questions in your thoughts? Questions like: “How different is this year going to be from the last year? Did you not expect changes and breakthroughs last year and nothing happened? Wasn’t the last New Year’s Day also filled with empty promises?” Satan’s only aim is to break your expectation (hope) and then break your faith.
My dear friend, let us not give up. Keep expecting God for breakthroughs, changes, etc… in this new year. Throw the thoughts of the devil away, flee from it and speak the Words of God, the promises of God given to you in Spirit and in power. Jesus Christ will glorify Himself through your life.
“But the more the Egyptians afflicted the Israelites, the more the Israelites multiplied and grew (flourished).” Exodus 1:12
The more they were afflicted and oppressed, the more they multiplied and grew (spread, flourished). Amen. I believe and pray the above statement will be your testimony throughout this year.
As we draw closer to the end of this world and the return of our KING, it will undoubtedly be a painful process. It is like a woman who is carrying a child in her womb – the stress and the pain only increase as the time to deliver her baby draws closer. So, dearest soldiers of God, as our KING’s return draws nearer, the pain (oppression & persecution) only increases for the body of Christ, but amid your suffering, God will multiply, flourish, and enlarge you. And, remember, persecution doesn’t mean defeat. Remember, Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed (persecuted), but not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”
King David records in Psalm 4:1 “Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress”
God is very much able to enlarge you while you are still in distress.
May this be your testimony: “The more I was oppressed and distressed, the more I multiplied and grew”
so let us ask Him for grace to move forward with one hope – the end is only glory, glory, and glory… for eternity.
One important prayer point:
There was a specific grace that rested upon the Lord Jesus during His earthly ministry when it came to persecution and pain. He could not be harmed, not even once, before His hour of martyrdom.
Jesus, the very man of suffering, the very lamb of God, the one who was born to be sacrificed and to suffer death, the one who undoubtedly faced persecution more than anyone else in human history, had a grace on His life that we need on every Christian including our families in these last days,
It is found in John 7:30 “Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.”
Many times, the Jews tried to stone, kill, and hurt Jesus, but they could not do so until God’s appointed time for that came. So, let us boldly approach the throne of grace and ask the Lord to fill our families and churches with this same grace that rested on our Master. – ‘No one should lay hands or hurt us until the appointed time comes’
Let us pray diligently and earnestly for this grace on the body of Christ and particularly on the servants of God:
Lord God Almighty,
Fill us, our families, and our churches with this grace this year
Protect us that no man, no devil, no power or authority will lay their hands on us until the time comes. Make us untouchable and protect us with your grace.
Please fill us with this power and strength each day of our lives.
Remove every veil that is keeping us from enjoying our destiny and give us your power to move forward in this new year. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
On behalf of God’s Love Missions family, we wish you a very blessed and fruitful year of multiplication and growth.
Amen!
