FOR THE SERVANTS OF GOD
Dear Servant of God,
With the new year, comes new blessings, and new grace for ministry. Be assured that God will surely bring new blessings into your life and ministry. God never fails in His promises to you. Whether His promise to you was at your time of salvation or many years ago or just today, God will stay true to His promises and always fulfill them.
The Word that I would like to encourage you for 2023 is found in Zechariah 4:6
“This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
Now replace Zerubbabel with your name and read the verse. “This is what the Lord says to *your name*: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
Believe in His promise and you will see the glory of God. Your victory this year depends on how deeply you can understand Zechariah 4:6. Meditate the verse over and over until it sinks into Your spirit until you get the entire revelation of what God is wanting you to know, and then you will see God operating openly in Your life.
Also, let us not fall to the lies of the enemy. Whether the persecution stops or not – the Church must grow. Unbelievers must be saved. Do not say, ‘once the change in the political leadership comes, then the revival will come and ministry will grow’ – No, remember, our success is ‘not by the ruler, not by prosperity, but by God’s Spirit only’. The Spirit of God can bring favour upon the Church by bringing the ruler He wants, but we cannot lose time or wait for this to happen because our victory doesn’t depend on who rules the nation. Decide today that prosperity or politics will never determine your call.
Finally, rejoice as you have entered another new year and DECLARE the words below:
I will finish myministry and my God will fulfill His purposes in my life.
I will not quit and I will not fail my Master.
I will not leave the call halfway through, but I will succeed and remain strong to the end, and I will receive the crown designed for me.
I will fulfill what I began – what my hands have started, my own hands will complete.
My end will be far more glorious than when I first began.
And, on that glorious day when I enjoy God’s rest, I will not forget to give Him glory by praising Him: ‘it is not by might, not by power, but by Your Spirit’.
Prayer:
Lord God,
Forgive me for my unbelief and for the times I questioned if I would complete my call. I repent of my thoughts and deeds that destroyed my faith in You.
Now, at this very moment, anoint me as You anointed Your servants for Your honour and glory. I praise You in advance for fulfilling the call in my life as I declare that it is only through ‘Your Spirit’ and not because of anything else.
Please restore everything to me and lift me up.
In Jesus’s matchless name I pray, Amen.
Rejoice for you are His Servant. I wish you the best new year you have had so far.
