Do Not Lose Your Vision!

May 31, 2024

“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be called Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.” Genesis 17:5

My dearest friends in Christ! What a joy it is to once again get in touch with you all through these blogs!

The Lord is indeed merciful and faithful in that, in these last days He has spoken to us through His own Son! (Hebrews1:1,2) and still continues to speak. I can’t imagine a day when we would be short of God’s Word and not know which direction to follow! (Amos 8:11,12; Proverbs 29:18).

The Lord clearly reminded me of one of the Enemy’s strategies from of old is devoid you of your vision! (2 Corinthians 4:4; John 10:10). And what a scary thing it is to lose one’s vision or literally the purpose of why you’re in existence.

When The Triune God made Mankind in His likeness (Genesis 1:26,27), He had a clear vision as to what this precious Creation of His would do. He gave them dominion over all other creatures for a reason (Genesis 1:28). When man sinned against God’s Word for him, all that he had and was placed in dominion over was taken over by the Enemy, the Devil (John 14:30).

In fact, it says in Romans 8:19, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the Sons of God.”

When the Lord God called a few people as His chosen generation, He changed all their names – Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah (Genesis 17:5,15), Jacob to Israel (Genesis 32:27,28) and out of that birthed a vision for each of them individually but ultimately the one which culminated in the Redemption Story of Creation!

Having spoken about the chosen ones in Mankind in the Old Testament who were given a vision and made to be integral links in the Redemption Story of Creation, there was a day when The Word of God Himself changed His name and stepped down as the Son of Man- Jesus Christ, so the pathway to ultimate restoration and dominion was restored back again! (Colossians 1:19,20).

And the trail continues even today in that, the Lord Jesus Christ has passed on the Mantle of restoration and reconciliation, the chance to be once again the Sons of God to us (Romans 8:19) and that even the patriarchs will not be perfect apart from us! (Hebrews 11:39,40)

My dearest Friend in Christ, I am sure the Lord God had given you vision when you started off your life for Christ! The first day when you knew in your heart why you were created and brought forth into this world, the day when the Lord assured you that your story was long written, even before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:16).

Do you seem to have lost that vision dear friend or the passion which drove you to love Jesus madly and do anything it takes to live for Him?

Trust me, it is not in fully winning or completing your vision that you are victorious rather in safeguarding, owning, believing and striving till the end to be truthful to the vision the Lord gave you that you truly win! (Romans 8:14; Matthew 24:13).

Bringing to fruition what you sow is the work of the Lord Holy Spirit (Proverbs 21:31).

These were the last words of the very famous missionary to Africa – Dr David Livingston! In his last few moments he said, “Do not let the latter generations be prideful of the harvest of souls that would come. Let them not forget the ones who sowed even when they had nothing in sight to see the fruition of their work!”

True to his words, the continent of Africa did see a mass revival with million of souls turning to Christ but not one of them were witnessed by Dr Livingston but that did not stop him from sowing or doing the ground work for the generations to come!

My dear friend, DO NOT LOSE YOUR VISION! Nothing in this world is worth more than living for God and for why He sent you to this earth! You are part of His Grand Story even when physically you don’t see the fruit of it right now! (Ephesians 2:10)

Keep working, keep pushing and most importantly keep believing in the vision the Lord gave you. It shall come to pass in Jesus mighty name!  (Isaiah 11:11).

Your day of rejoicing for the Lord’s fulfilment of His purposes and promises for you is near (Isaiah 12). So, hang on and be ready for the mad ride ahead of you with the Lord Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name! Your promotion to the next realm of the spirit is near. Claim it in Jesus mighty name! Your encounter with HIM again is near. Believe it.

God bless you dear friend. Awaiting with you to hear your testimonies ahead!

“For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5)

HE WILL DO WITH HIS HANDS WHAT HE PROMISED WITH HIS MOUTH (2 Chronicles 6:4).

With much love, tears & prayers,

God’s Love Missions Family.
