“For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land” – Haggai 2:6
GOD has determined to shake the heavens, the earth, the sea and the dry land one more time. The LORD JESUS CHRIST said, “Heavens and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)
It is very clear that only GOD’s word will stand to the end.
During the time of Exodus, (Exodus 19:18) the Israelites saw the LORD Himself coming down in a fire upon Mt. Sinai and they saw the fire with their eyes and they heard His voice with their ears. They all trembled and did not want to go near the fire. Paul the apostle, quotes the verse and reminds us in Hebrews that the LORD is going to shake the earth and the heavens once more. GOD chose a man called Moses in Exodus to be His prophet for such a glorious time in GOD’s plan. Once again, the LORD is calling for Moses in this generation for another glorious time in His plan.
GOD needs Moses who will obey and be GOD’s instrument for Haggai Ch:2 prophecy to be fulfilled now before His second coming.
‘Are you the Moses for this generation?’ GOD is waiting on that mountain top- whatever your mountain is, whether physical or spiritual. GOD has been waiting patiently to meet you and now the time is come.
Moses did not find GOD in Egypt when he killed the Egyptian, GOD did not appear to Moses in the wilderness when he ran from Pharoh, GOD did not meet him in his new home, not anywhere else but one place. It was the Mt Horeb. (Exodus 3) GOD is calling for Moses.
Are you the Moses in this generation? Climb that mountain where you know GOD has destined you. Climb.
If you are still in past places or stuck in Egypt, quit and move to Horeb. The bush is now burning and GOD voice is calling.
‘Are you the Moses in this generation?’ Run today to your Mt Horeb. GOD is waiting. Glory is awaiting.
“25 See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 This phrase, “Yet once more”, indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:25-29
