Love from the beginning

“You are His image in His likeness
You are His breath
You are Ruler over Earth”

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

In the beginning God planned perfectly before creating the heavens and the earth. He planned all the good things that should be in this earth which would make you rejoice in His presence. Everything He created has a purpose from the beginning. God created heaven and earth according to the plans He had in His heart from the beginning.

God created everything just for you and me to know His goodness and the love He has on us. He created light for you because He did not want you to live in darkness alone and saw that light is good for you and separated the light from the darkness (Genesis 1:3, 4). Likewise God created the sky, dry land, seas, vegetation, seed bearing plants, trees, stars, birds, great creatures of the sea, wild animals and He saw that it was good (Genesis 1:25).

Why did God create these many things on the earth? God created everything for His loving children to live happily on this earth without any lack but full of joy. He showed the love He had for His children by confirming everything is good in His sight.

God took five days to create the above things for you and me. On the sixth day God was very much excited, He was full of joy, He was rejoicing because the most awaited moment of God had come. Yes, He was very much excited of creating man .God showed His complete love on the sixth day of creation that is the day He created man.

The complete love of God is shown in three unique things. First, He created man uniquely with His complete love. If you read Genesis 1:26 “Then God said ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness.’”Amen. This is the complete love of God that was planned in the beginning for us, to be in His image and His likeness. If you read the bible God did not create any other creature in His image but only you and I are created in His image and in His likeness. See how special we are in His sight.

And the second unique thing He planned in showing His complete love is, “The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into His nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being”. Amen. You are His breath; you and I became a living being by His own breath. All other created beings did not become a living being by God’s breath but only you and I became a living being by His breath. See how much He loves you; See how much care He has on you. (I Peter 5:7).

The third unique thing He planned in showing is complete love is, “Rule over the fish of the sea and birds of the air and over every living creature, that moves on the ground (Genesis 1:26). Amen. You are the ruler of this earth. God has made us as a ruler of this earth. God did not give any authority to other living creatures but gave His authority to you over earth out of His complete love.

This is the difference He made between us and all other creations. He is the one who knows you from the beginning; He is the one who loves you from the beginning. He is the one who loved you first and He is the one who will love you till the end. This is the complete love of God over you and me from the beginning. But we did not realize the love He had from the beginning. But we sinned against Him and gave back only pain to His heart.

The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become and that every inclination of the thoughts of his hearts was only evil all the time (Genesis 6: 5). The Lord grieved that He made man on this earth and His heart was filled with pain. He is grieved of our sinful thoughts and of our sins. We came away from His complete love and we lost His image and His likeness (Genesis 6: 6).

But our loving God wants to give you His complete love that He has from the beginning. So He gave Jesus His only son. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son (John 3:16). Yes God loves you so much so He gave Jesus to restore you into His image and His likeness. That’s why He showed His complete love on the cross ,so that you will be like Him. Jesus was crushed and He bore our sins on the cross. Yes, my dear ones through Jesus we can enjoy the complete love of God and Jesus will transform you into His image and into His likeness, because He has done everything on the cross.

Are your plans becoming failures? God can give you success with the plans He has for you from the beginning. Are you sick? God can heal you with the love that He has from the beginning. If you want to feel this complete love of God and to fill you today, Let’s pray sincerely

Dear Loving Jesus,

Your love is so wonderful. You created me with so much of love. Thank You for creating me in Your image and in Your likeness. Forgive me from all sins. Cleanse my heart with Your blood. Help me to realize your complete love. Transform me into Your image and into Your likeness with the complete love that You have from the beginning. Amen
