The Open Door – April 2026

In 1 Corinthians 16:9, Paul says: “A great and effective door has opened for me.”

This is not only for Paul, but for each one of us—there is an open door given to us.

Yes, the Lord Jesus says: “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.”
(John 10:9)

He also says:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
(John 14:6)

He Himself is the door, and He Himself is the way that leads us into that door.

Even today, we have a hope.
There is an open door for each one of us.
There is also a name through which we can enter into it.

In Jeremiah 33:3, it is written:
“Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

When we look to Him and depend on Him, when He calls us into our lives, He is powerful to save us.

When we read Mark 10:46–52,
we see that the life of blind Bartimaeus was filled with darkness.

No one could open the door of light for him.
But when he heard that Jesus was coming,
he began to cry out, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet.
But he did not give up or lose heart.
Instead, he cried out even louder, calling out to Jesus.

This touched the heart of Jesus.
He not only called him and restored his sight, but also saved him and transformed his life.

He followed Jesus all the days of his life and became a testimony to many, doing great things.

Even though many stood against him as obstacles to his blessing,
through his faith he received victory.
He did not grow weary or give up, but with the little strength he had,
he cried out loudly to Jesus—and that very act made him overcome.

It changed his entire life.

In Revelation 3:7–8 it says:
“He who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one can open.”

Let us call upon the Holy One, the True One,
the One who holds the key of David—the Almighty.

He is the One who has placed an open door before us.
He will lead us into it and use us powerfully for the glory of His name.

Jesus, who is the way, will break every obstacle and go before us.
As we follow Him in faith, may the Lord Himself bless us abundantly.
