YOUR VISION IS NOT LOST!
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3
My dearest friends in Christ! It’s always, always a joy for me to bring the Lord’s Word to you! (Psalm 119:162) It brings us so much of joy and assurance, it always assures us that it is better than life itself! (Psalm 63:3) Hallelujah! What a mighty, awesome and loving Father we serve! (Isaiah 64:4)
Truly speaking, the Word for this month is so simple and so special. I’m sure it would only reassure us that the God we serve is indeed a Loving Father! (Deuteronomy 1:31; Psalm 103:13)
I would like to share a small incident that happened recently which triggered off the assurance for this Word.
It was just another beautiful day and I was casually sitting on my bed and preparing for an upcoming exam of mine. Suddenly I realized that my left earing was missing. I got worried since its gold and started searching for it in the whole house but to no avail. I was reminded of a few beautiful incidences in my childhood when I’d lost my school books or pen caps a couple of times and prayed saying, “Lord, all those times I remember that you made me lose nothing. I was always given back what I had lost, although it was due to my carelessness. I pray the same for this earing.” The frantic search continued but to no gain. The next morning when I went to take a bath and as I was taking off my shirt something came and directly fell into the palm of my hand. Lo and behold it was my earing! As this was happening, I felt the Lord tell me very gently, “I will make to fall into your hands what is yours. You have lost nothing!”
Psalm 36: 5-10 says,
5. “Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
6. Your righteousness is like the great mountains;
Your judgements are a great deep;
O Lord, You preserve man and beast.
7. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
8. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
9. For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.
10. Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.”
My dearest friend, your promise this month is very simple, straightforward and strongly put forth by a loving Heavenly Father – “Whatever belongs to you will fall right into your hands. You have lost nothing!”
Isaiah 60:22 says, “I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”
A simple, calm, reassuring presence of the Lord assures you this promise yet again in Habakkuk 2:3 – it may seem that the vision is delayed but wait for it, for though it tarries, it will surely come to pass, it will not tarry.
Your vision is not lost my friend, it will not tarry, it will surely come to pass.
Jesus loves you.
With much joy, assurance and prayers,
God’s Love Missions Family.
