HE IS YOUR LIFE!

“In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.” John 1:4

“I have come that they may have Life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

John 10:10

My dearest ones in Christ! It’s indeed a joy for me to always be able to reach out to you and to interact with you through these blogs!

The month of May was indeed special. God has been so kind in leading us for the past five months of this year 2024. God has been faithful even when we failed to be. (2 Timothy2:13)

As I was reading my Bible, the Lord exclusively reminded me about one passage which is the very essence of what we need for the times we live in currently. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

Deuteronomy Chapter 30 describes about how the Man of God Moses instructed and admonished the children of Israel. He explicitly says that there are only two paths to take – either life or death – that there is no grey area intervening. And the Prophet of God specifically instructs them that in choosing HIM is their Life.

We live in a world that’s in turmoil, torn, marred. People warring against each other, selfish ambitions extending to its highest limit, little or no love that can keep families together and so on. Not to forget that the other creatures / creation also suffers under Mankind.

In this scenario John the Apostle reminds us that “In Him is Life and that Life is the Light of all men’ (John 1:4). He also documents what the Son of God Himself said, “I have come to give them Life and Life abundantly” (John 10:10)

Having quoted these verses, I’m reminded of a vision I had when I initially gave my life to Jesus Christ.

I saw myself sitting in a deserted and lonely place. I was dressed in rags and there was so much of dirt and garbage over me. The scene was so horrific that any person passing by will only feel nauseated and will not even take the courage to think to touch me. And suddenly there I saw Someone walking towards me, clothed in white apparel, so pure, so holy that even me seeing Him I thought would make Him dirty! But He kept coming closer and I started to cry out saying, “Lord don’t touch me! Your hands will get dirty if You do that. I don’t want Your pure clothes to get dirty.” He didn’t seem bother my pleas and kept coming closer. HE TOUCHED ME! With the dirt and garbage and all. When I saw that His hands became dirty touching me, I cried all the more. But just in a jiff I realised that I was also now clothed in white – pure and holy. It felt so warm, so comforting, so clean. The dirt that was on me, was all on the Saviour now and it did not bother Him to have done that for me, in fact I felt Him smile lovingly. 

The vision ended with that. The Life that He gave me that day still speaks, still lets me breathe, in the most difficult of times when I feel the Enemy has indeed won and has looted all my blessings, this abundant Life steps in to change the scenario right around in my favour!

Dear Child of God, I’m not sure what situation your life is in today, but I can say this with assurance – HE IS YOUR LIFE! (Deuteronomy 30:20).

Seek Him, want for Him, ask for an encounter and your life will change. (Jeremiah 29:13) When His Life enters you, you too will inherit the Light and shine it to others so they may see it and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16).

I’m wishing and pronouncing a month of blessing of His Life over you!! May all the plans that the Lord has for you, may all that the enemy tried to loot, and may all that your heart desired for be fulfilled and come to pass in Jesus name!

More than anything else I pray that you will encounter HIM (JESUS) once again!

So, hold on tight and wait for the best ride yet! In Jesus name.
