A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. Psalm 22:30

February 28, 2020

“A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.” Psalm 22:30

HOLY SPIRIT says, ‘a seed’ shall serve Him- the word ‘seed’ represents more than just one person or one family. Just like how you will call ‘an’ army, ‘a’ battalion, ‘a’ flock, the words “ ‘a’ seed”. Army is a group of soldiers with just one mission- to save. Likewise, ‘a seed’ here represents all of you whom God has chosen to save this generation, to see and experience the goodness of GOD in an entire different move compared to the past ways of our LORD.

Important nature of this seed will be ‘humility’.
Peter and James says, “Be clothed in humility for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Some other features of this seed:

  1. Imitate the LORD JESUS CHRIST

1 John 3:9 “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.”

This seed will resemble, radiate and represent the LORD JESUS more than others.

Paul says in Romans 13:14, “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”

You cannot miss this CALL. You must DENY your SELF.

Will you choose to kill the desires of the flesh and deny yourself, and decide to imitate your LORD JESUS alone?

  1. Beholding the face of the LORD JESUS CHRIST

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Than any the other spiritual blessings, this generation will long to behold CHRIST’s face and be intimate with Him. The Holy Spirit comes upon you to be witnesses of JESUS’s resurrection. This seed will witness and be always longing to witness the LORD JESUS. But, Witness what? Jesus needed no witness of his death in Jerusalem- that was the headlines but what was He commanding the apostles in Acts 1:8?

The apostles were called to be the witness of His resurrection. Paul and Peter said, “the LORD JESUS CHRIST is Alive” but the LORD JESUS needs witnesses for this Generation: Will you be one? Will you be a witness that JESUS is alive?

Psalm 24:6 “Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.”

  1. Seed of the LORD JESUS CHRIST

Isaiah 53:8 “He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.”

‘Who will declare His generation’? JESUS generation hasn’t died. They are here waiting to be manifested. Because He suffered and was cut off, this seed has the grace not just to be His servants but His own offspring, His descendants and His Generation—the very generation of the Lord JESUS CHRIST.

Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring (seed); he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”

My Friend,

Your birth was planned not by your mother or father or anybody else. God planned it and has put you in His plans and so you have a reason to live. In the many billions that are born on earth you are also chosen. Do not lose heart. You are chosen to be LORD JESUS’ Son and Daughter. You must be His seed not only in words but in deeds, in actions. Your lifestyle must become more one with Him.

You must no longer just be a child, you must a real spirit-mature Son and Daughter.

We must carry in our mind that this generation is not special than the others, only the time and the plans of GOD is special and it is grace we are called to be a part of this move.
