April Month Promise- Your Heavenly Father never leaves!
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38
My dear precious friends in Christ! It is truly a joy for me to be writing this blog to you and to let you know that Jesus loves you, unconditionally.
Even as I was writing this blog I was reminded of a story which has stayed very close to my heart.
It’s the story about a father and his dear son. This was a true incident that happened in Japan. The love that this father had for his son was immeasurable. Every day before dropping his son in school he would say, “Son, no matter what always know that daddy will be there for you!”
One bright sunny day the day started off as usual and as always the father assured his son with his words and left him in school. In a few hours time an earthquake struck the place and the parents got a call from the school saying that some of the buildings had collapsed and they needed to come immediately to find their son!
Panic stricken the father rushed to the school and one of the buildings that had collapsed is where his son’s classroom was and some of the children from the building had not been found yet!
In spite of warning from the rescue crew the father still went forward to clear the rumbles himself in attempt to find his son. And guess for how long he went about this search – 13 hours without food and rest he kept searching! But to no avail. All the other crew members who had been helping him left when night started to fall but the father kept going on. And after yet another two hours of search suddenly the father heard a faint voice which called out, “help!” .
The father became frantic and started to clear the piles off and finally the sound started to become stronger and stronger until finally he heard the voice he had been waiting to hear, “Dad?!”
Tears running down his cheek the father cleared the last pile of stones to see his son secure under a huge stone that had enough space to keep him and not just his son but thirteen other children who were caught under the ruins.
The son when he saw his father without an ounce of doubt and with excitement turned to the other kids and said, “Didn’t I tell you that no matter what my dad would come!!?”
The father embraced his son and rescued all the other children too!
My dear friends, this story has always moved my heart and I’m more than convinced that this is what our Heavenly Father assures us today that, ‘no matter what is happening in your life or how wretched your life is, I will always love you and always be there for you.’
I like it how Sis. Lisa Bevere puts it, she says, “If you think that you’ve messed up God’s plan for your life, my dear friend I want you to know that you are not strong enough to do that.”
Nothing has taken you short of God’s grace today and nothing ever will. And all that He requires of you is a heart of repentance. You will see God’s glory revealed if you will believe.
My dear friend, Jesus loves you.
