Youth post for a Smart-Generation

February 22, 2019

My dear children, I am glad to reach you through this blog as I have been wanting to talk to you the young generation of this 21st century.

Considering the fact that you are living in times when almost everything evil could either be accessed or purchased with just a few clicks on the internet on your smart phones, I want you to be reminded that the Holy Bible lays a strong foundation for a better and successful living for the various aspects of a life which makes your living pleasing to your Creator. I want you to pick up your Bible and read some verses with me today. As you journey through these verses below I trust this will be a good reminder to remember the true meaning of a fruitful living.

    1. Obey GOD:

“Be obedient to God, and do not allow your lives to be shaped by those desires you had when you were still ignorant. Instead, be holy in all that you do, just as God who called you is holy. The scripture says, ‘Be Holy for I am Holy.’ ” (1 Peter 1: 14-16

    2. Keep away from evil & do good:

“whoever wants to enjoy life and wishes to see good times must keep away from evil and do good; he must strive for peace with all his heart. For the Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their prayers” (1 Peter 3: 10-12).

3. Love everyone and always remember to show your love in both your words and in your actions:

1 John 3: 13-16, “So do not be surprised, my brothers, if the people of the world hate you. We know that we have left death and come into life” and “whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that a murderer has no eternal life in him. This is how we know what love is: Christ gave His life for us.”

“My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.” (1 John 3:18)

    4.  Stay strong in GOD’s love and continue to grow in your faith:

“My friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy to give you eternal life.” (Jude 20, 21)

Wishing you the best of His grace! God bless you.
