2019 New Year Special

December 31, 2018

A Sacrifice made with Fire

“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.” Mark 9:49.

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I write this with much joy and trembling, to be sharing this year’s New Year promise with you.

God has been gracious to us in the past year, and through it all He never let go of us.

And as we’re approaching the end times in its true sense, the requirements from Him of us is also increasing.

The promise for this year is not of any human’s effort, but that he wanted to reveal His heart to all those who are ready to be receptive.

I pray the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to see His mysteries.

The passage that He wanted to share with you is from Leviticus 1.

The chapter talks about God Almighty calling out to Moses, His servant, from the tabernacle of meeting, a place filled with the intense glory of God (Exodus 40:34-38).

The very first time God spoke to humans about sacrifices as an atonement for their sins.

Surprisingly every sacrifice that was to be made, was to be made with fire.

It says in Leviticus 1:9, “And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.”

It sounds quite intense, as a burnt offering would mean the complete consummation of what was being offered; it wasn’t just giving up its life.

And dear ones, for the end days God is expecting such a sacrifice – one made with fire, the holy fire – to be consumed in our entirety.

We might wonder that this was a commandment given to the Israelites in the Old Testament, so what is that to do with us?

Jesus says in Mark 9:49, “For everyone will be seasoned with fire and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.” Except that in the old testament it was with animals but now its with you and me, Jesus Himself being the first.

My dear ones, God Almighty is expecting an intense sacrifice this coming year, 2019.

The writer to the Hebrews writes, “For our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29)

Anyone who is going to let himself or herself be consumed in God Almighty in fullness this year will see what God can do through someone who is fully submitted to Him!

But, it’s a choice and its all yours to make.

But do remember He’s waiting for your reply.

I pray that this year, you will be that sacrifice made with fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, that the world might know about the only true Living God for the end of all things is near.

God bless you.

Wishing you a blessed new year 2019, a year in which you would bring a smile upon His face!

With much love,

Sis Ida Christine A,

God’s Love Missions family.
