GOD The Judge
Beloved,
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am extremely joyful in sharing this wonderful word of God with you. Let us praise the Lord for guarding us with good health and strength until this very moment.
‘Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.’ Psalm 96:13
The Lord has promised us that He will come fast and judge us in truth and in righteousness.
1) What is righteousness?
‘Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.’
‘I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.’ Gal 2:16,21
Believing in Christ is righteousness
‘Even as Abraham believed God, it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all nations be blessed.’ Gal 3:6,7,8
The Bible says that Abraham’s faith was accounted to him for righteousness.
‘For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.’
‘For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.’ Romans 10:4,10
2) How do we guard our righteousness?
Not just by believing in God, but also in facing all troubles and sorrows boldly through our faith in Christ alone, will lead us to eternity.
‘ Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.’ Mat 5:10
We, as His children shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.
3) What is truth?
‘Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’ John 14:6
Jesus is the truth
4) How do we guard our truth?
‘Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.’ John 16:13
When we truly desire for God to stay with us and when we walk with Him, He shall guide us in all truth. When we hold onto Him tightly and offer ourselves completely to Him and strive to walk in His ways our loving Lord will definitely guide us in the way of truth and guard us close to Him.
Beloved, truth and righteousness are nothing but believing Him and submitting ourselves totally at His feet.
So, shall we submit ourselves to Him?
God bless you.
Amen.
