Listen to Jesus!

Dear Children,

Greetings to you in the name of our Jesus Christ. In schools and colleges, we always have a desire to reach high in life- for example: we dream of becoming the class leader or becoming a class topper or becoming a great person in school or college.

Here we are going to see one instance from bible on how the class leader or class topper or great person should be.

Now Jesus is going to call you and tell you few things, listen to JESUS:

Matthew 20: 25-28

 ²⁵So Jesus called them all together and said, “You know that the rulers of the heathen have power over them, and the leaders have complete authority.

 ²⁶ This, however, is not the way it shall be among you. If one of you wants to be great, you must be the servant of the rest;

 ²⁷ and if one of you wants to be first, you must be the slave of the others— 

²⁸ like the Son of Man, who did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life to redeem many people.” (Also read the above verses in the Tamil version if you are able to)

Obey just as the Bible says- If you want to be great person, you must be the servant of the rest; if you want to be first, you must be the slave of the others;

This is the same way that our LORD JESUS came to serve and to give his life to redeem many people and became the great person.
