Arise Martyr, Your time has come!

Hello friends!

Its such a joy for me to write to you through this blog.

The end of all is nearing, isn’t it my friend? I would like to share one verse with you today.

Isaiah 40:5 says,

” The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The time for this word to be fulfilled is near!

The time when God is going to reveal His heavenly glory in all its fullness has come!

And what’s more interesting is that He has chosen YOU to reveal His glory!!

Isaiah 42:8 says,

” I am the Lord, that is My name and My glory I will not give to another nor My praise to carved images.”

Yes my dear friend, God wants to reveal this jealous attribute of His through you that all flesh might see together and know that He alone is God ; that He is Lord God Almighty.

I’m reminded of a story that happened during 203 A.D in Carthage, North Africa about a young lady named Perpetua who belonged to one of the most noble families of the community.

During this time the persecution of the Christians had just begun and Perpetua and her friends were put in prison and finally condemned to death for their faith in Christ.

Perpetua had the choice to deny Christ before the decree was publicly proclaimed and get reunited with her family and her dear one year old infant but instead to everyone’s surprise and her sobbing father’s persistent requests to deny Christ, she boldly and unashamedly proclaimed Christ to be the only true living God and as her Lord and Saviour.

History has recorded about this woman’s death. Few moments before she could die people saw her face shine as that of an angel! Everyone in the amphitheater who were mercilessly and mockingly laughing at their traitors death, fell silent as Heaven rewarded the faith of this young woman. Hallelujah!

And there are numerous other examples my friend.

It says in Acts 6:15 that the people who sat in the council saw the face of Stephen as that of an angel moments before his martyrdom.

The Auca tribe – one of the most terrifying tribes of the Ecuador to whom the five passionate missionaries went, testify till today about the angels who sang during the last moments of Jim Elliott and his friends on this earth.

And what’s more than this that when Jesus was martyred on the cross – the earth shook, the veil tore and Heaven stood in silence acknowledging the awesome glory that was revealed and restored through His death!

But the good news is this –

He has given this glory, for which the earth shook, the veil tore, the sun and moon hid and heaven fell silent, to you…

Jesus said in John 17:22,

” And the glory which You have given Me I have given to them.”

Hallelujah!!

My dear friend, time has come when all things should come to an end and for everything to become new.

Bridging these two events is the time when God will reveal His awesome, majestic and terrifying glory through you.
