Focus towards the LORD JESUS CHRIST

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In the name of Jesus Christ, I wish you a Blessed New Year 2018. Many would be thinking “What could be my focus or aim?” in your life in this year. Jesus focuses His children to be a “Blessed person”. As children of God, let us focus towards Jesus’ focus, to be a blessed person in this blessed year and so on.

How can I be a blessed person? Do I need any eligibility?  If I have the eligibility then what is my outcome out of it?

• Are you a person who is humble and seeking to be “poor in spirit”? God says in Matthew 5:3 – Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
• Are you a person who cries or mourns always? God says in Matthew 5:4 – Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
• Are you a person who is quiet or gentle? God says in Matthew 5:5 – Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
• Are you a person who thirsts for doing right/justifiable things? God says in Matthew 5:6 – Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
• Are you a person who is kind hearted, forgiving, compassionate? God says in Matthew 5:7 – Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
• Are you a person who is always doing clean works and asking God to make you “pure in heart”? God says in Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
• Are you a person who avoids fight and make peace with others? God says in Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Some may think that I don’t have few of the above characters in me, but God says in Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find: knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Seek and you will receive, to inherit God’s blessing.

God is ready to bless you in this year and in all the coming years and make you a blessing to many.
