Wait and Let Go!!
Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Almighty!!!
Hope this finds you in immense peace and comfort from our Father.
It’s been long since I had written to you all but I trust that you have been well by His grace.
I have been pondering about various things in life like I always do.
One thing I realised is to wait and let go.
In life, you come across many decisions to be taken, need to see the best location to live, best supermarket to buy groceries, best school for your children and what not. We go in seek of the best and get disappointed when it doesn’t go our way and thoughts.
We look for the best life partner, with the best job, best salary, best personality etc but fail to pause and wait in His presence.
Let me tell you something today, our life story has been written and we are witnessing a finished story.
Is there a reason to worry about something that’s already pre-defined? All we need to do is wait in His presence for any decision of our life.
His word says in Jeremiah 29:11-14 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.”
He says that He knows what He has planned for us and when we seek Him, we will find Him.
Many a times, He is our last resort but today I tell you, make Him first and you will see the difference.
And another thing is, instead of taking control of the situation, we need to let go and let Him steer. Once the control is given to Him, you will see the change unwinding itself.
In Philippians 4:6 we read, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”.
Let us wait in prayer with patience and perseverance in our heart.
