Salvation belongeth unto the LORD

July 3, 2017

Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. – Psalms 3:8

My dear friend,

God encourages you this month by promising you that the salvation of your loved one is near. All you have to do is to wait on God. Remember, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to His disciples, and the disciples had to wait. Not just simply wait by doing nothing but waiting by using your time in praying for it.

If the disciples had gone back fishing because Jesus asked them to wait, the Holy Spirit would not have come down on the promised day. The disciples forsook everything and waited on God by reading the word and praying for the promise. If you can do your part faithfully God will do His part faithfully this month. Your loved one shall be saved.

Even though I was brought up in a strong Christian faith, I drifted away from God in my late teenage life to the pleasures of sin. I behaved a fine gentleman at home and my parents were not completely aware of what I was getting into outside home. But exactly at the same time when I started indulging in evil habits, I strongly remember that my mother began to fast and pray for me whenever she found time, sometimes a whole day and a few times many days together and she did this for months. She would close her eyes and tears would continuously be pouring out of her eyes in prayer. Once I am back from my school, she would share some of the warnings and blessings God gave her that day. It didn’t really have a huge impact on me. I thought mummy was saying something out of love. A few years went by, I went away from home for college and staying away from parents I was only a few steps away from loosing life for eternity.

Where did those prayers go? What happened to the days of not eating food and praying? Where did all the precious tears from my mother’s eyes go?

It didn’t go anywhere. It all came to me one night in a small students’ fellowship.

All her tears and all her prayers came to me in the form of a person, the person of the Son of God. He called me the same night for His work and I accepted His call to serve Him. It is nearly seven years now from that night. Today I work for Jesus. I am a full time servant of the good news. Today, my mother rejoices to see her son in her Lord’s service. You will rejoice too.

The God who was faithful to my mother will be faithful to you. Your time is coming to see your loved one saved. But there is something you have to do. Pray and don’t lose hope.

I surely believe the Lord for a miracle in the life of your loved one this month. Don’t give up until you see a change.

I and the God’s love missions prayer team would love to join you in prayer for your loved one’s salvation. So please write back to us at godslovemissions@gmail.com or through the phone number at https://godslovemissions.com/about/ letting us know who you are praying for so we can also join you in prayer.
