The Blessing of GOD Almighty

“Be fruitful and multiply” –Genesis 1:28

God Almighty loves to bless His dear ones. You are His dear one – did you know that! If not, know it today. You are God’s dear. God is going to bless you today in a different way. God’s blessing is always fresh, it’s new and unique.

Whenever man had an encounter with God, you will always see that GOD would never leave the place without blessing the person.

Abraham (Genesis: 12, 13, 14, 17, 18), Isaac (Genesis 26:1-5), Jacob (Genesis 28 &32), who met God face to face were all blessed. Even in the New Testament, where Jesus walked on this earth, He blessed his disciples often; the people who came to Him were blessed by Him. He blessed the bread before He broke it to share it (Mathew 26:26), blessed food before dinner (Mark 14:22), He would say “Blessed are you, Peter” (Mathew 16:17) when He wanted to appreciate him at times.

Yes, God loves to bless you. Even after Jesus’ resurrection from death itself- He took his disciples to Bethany and “blessed” them- so says the Bible, before He ascended.

Today, my friend let us take a deeper thought on the very first blessing to man.

In Genesis 1:28, Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” (NLT)

“Be fruitful and multiply” was the first few words from the Almighty GOD. Before He said “multiply”, God is clear in saying “Be Fruitful”. This is a blessing. The first blessing and commandment. Do you have this blessing in your life? I am not asking you just about multiplying in numbers, what about being “fruitful”? You could call something fruitful only when it is effective, only if it is good. God blessed you with this too and expects results. Is your family life fruitful? Is it good or have you just multiplied? Is there a desire in you for that at least?  Do you want your children, your family and your dear ones to be fruitful?

We enjoy God’s blessing! All of us love a blessing. Today, question yourself- “are you fruitful?” or have you just multiplied or waiting to simply multiply? The joy is only partial in just multiplying. The joy of blessing is manifested in full only when you are fruitful.

Desire it.

Let your friends and family serve the kingdom of God.

Let your Child be a blessing to his generation.

Long for it and God will bless you with it.

Loving Lord Jesus,

We praise you for all the earthly blessings! Thank you very much for it! But Lord, help us to be fruitful in our works, in our family,  in our very own lives. Help us to be a blessing to many,  in Your way.
